Martini
- 2 ozGin
- 1 ozDry vermouth
- 2 dashOrange bitters
Method
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir for 25–30 seconds until very cold. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass. Express and drop a lemon twist, or garnish with an olive.
Notes
The ratio debate is endless. A 2:1 gin-to-vermouth ratio is a good middle ground — drier than the original, less arid than a 'wave the vermouth at the glass' approach.
