CoupeGarnish: Three raspberries or a lemon twist
Ingredients
- 1½ ozPlymouth Gin
- ¾ ozLemon Juice
- ½ ozGrenadine
- 1Egg white
Method
Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Dry shake (no ice) for 10 seconds to emulsify the egg white. Add ice and shake hard for another 10–12 seconds. Fine-strain into a chilled coupe.
Notes
Named after the men's club in Philadelphia, ca. 1900s. Traditional versions use raspberry syrup; grenadine or fresh raspberry preserves work well. The egg white creates a silky foam.
