Gran Classico Bitter

Natural golden-amber colored bitter apéritif liqueur made from a maceration of 25 aromatic herbs and roots including wormwood, gentian, bitter orange peel, rhubarb, and hyssop. Based on an 1860s Italian recipe from Turin. Entry features rhubarb upfront, with gentian dominating in the midpalate before orange peel and piney/resiny notes in the finish. Complex, layered, and lingering with balanced sweet and bitter characteristics. Can be enjoyed on ice or with seltzer, or used as a modifier in cocktails like the Negroni.
