Fernet Del Frate

Deep colored, almost black, with golden reflections from fine saffron and no additional coloring. Saffron aromas mix with lightly mentholated and medicinal notes. The bitterness is immediately detected on the first sip, but evolves with light mint and menthol flavors that are surprisingly balanced, with a subtle sweetness on the finish. Rich with spiced and herbaceous aromas, medium to heavy bodied, with an explosion of flavors leading to a bitter, dry finish that lingers.
