Whiskey Sour

ShakeRocksGarnish: Lemon wheel, Angostura bitters dash on foam
  • Bulleit Bourbon
    2 oz
  • Lemon Juice
    ¾ oz
  • Simple syrup
    ¾ oz
  • Angostura Aromatic Bittersoptional
    1 dash

Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker. Dry shake (no ice) for 10 seconds to emulsify the egg white. Add ice and shake hard for another 10–12 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass over ice.

Notes

The egg white is optional but transforms the texture. Without it, strain over fresh ice for a cleaner drink.
