Method
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Add ice and stir until well-chilled. Strain into the glass over a large ice cube. Express lime peel over the drink and discard. Garnish. Coconut oil aperitif: melt 2 oz. coconut oil over low heat until clear. Combine with 4 oz. each Cocchi Americano and Amontillado sherry in a non-reactive container. Seal and shake to combine. Rest for 2 hours, shaking occasionally. Freeze overnight. Discard the fat puck and strain through a coffee filter. Keeps refrigerated up to 1 week.
