Moscow Mule

BuildCopper mugGarnish: Lime wheel, candied ginger
  • Ketel One Vodka
    2 oz
  • Fever-Tree Ginger Beer
    4 oz
  • Lemon Juice
    ½ oz

Method

Fill a copper mug (or rocks glass) with ice. Add vodka and lime juice. Top with ginger beer and stir gently.

Notes

Invented in 1941 partly as a marketing effort to sell Smirnoff vodka and Cock 'n Bull ginger beer. The copper mug is traditional and keeps the drink cold. Fever-Tree is consistently the best widely available ginger beer.
