    Cognac
    1oz
  • White Crème de Cacao
    Crème de cacao
    1oz
  • Heavy Cream
    Heavy cream
    1oz

Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake hard for 10–12 seconds. Fine-strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.

Notes

A Prohibition-era favorite. White crème de cacao gives a cleaner look and taste than dark. Equal parts all three is the classic formula.
